Review

If you are concerned with your files' security and want an ultimate solution that works on the disk level independent from your windows installation, then you have found what you have been looking for. Disk Password Protection is a state-of-the-art program that easily and through few simple steps will enable you to lock your hard disk drive or any partition with a password. You will also be able to restrict viewing and execution of your files and protect your confidential information. When the computer tries to load the operating system from a protected boot partition, it will not boot without providing the correct password. If you took your hard drive and connected it to another computer, don't worry because your partitions will be still protected and totally invisible and inaccessible. It has the ability to choose between different types of password protection and choosing which one suits you the better. The program has an easy-to-use wizard, and is interface is very beautiful simulating The Microsoft Windows XP Blue style. The trial version of this program will not allow you to enable protection on partitions/disks after 30 days, but will just allow disabling it.
Advantages
  • Operating System independent.
  • Command line interface.
  • Easy wizard.
Disadvantages
  • Cannot enable single or multiple folder/file protection.
